A New Companion!

Hey all!!! Just a quick update! 

My pday got moved to today since it's the fourth of July. We've had a fun day so far just hanging out and eating good food!! We are planning on watching the fireworks from our front porch (rumor has it that our neighbors put on a super good fireworks show) so I am pumped for that!! 

We had transfers last week, and guess what?? Sister Loudin got transferred :'( that was a sad day. But we decided that we were friends in the pre-mortal existence and that's not going to stop after the mission!! One thing I didn't expect the mission to do was bring such amazing friends into my life! I'm grateful it has ♡

My new comp is Sister Holdsworth and she is amazing!! Her original assignment was in Chile, but after 7 months there she got reassigned to my mission. She is so happy and positive. I'm looking forward to this transfer!!! We had a busy week with lots of lessons and meetings. It felt good to get lots accomplished! 

I also had a cool lesson with my friend Monica. She's been reading the Book of Mormon and is almost done with reading 1 Nephi!! During our lesson she said, "This Nephi guy is super cool! I want to keep learning from him." I agree! I started the Book of Mormon over again this week and this verse from Nephi is one of my faves. Chapter 7 verse 12 
"Yea, and how is it that ye have forgotten that the Lord is able to do all things according to his will, for the children of men, if it so be that they exercise faith in him? Wherefore, let us be faithful to him."

God is good!! Don't forget all the wonderful things He has done for you. Just be faithful to Him and trust in His power. He will make things work out!
