Getting Creative

hey friends!!

this week was good. somehow we made it to the last week of the transfer. time is flying by! it's crazy

I had the super cool opportunity to hear from Tad R. Callister this week! he came to our mission leadership council and talked about how we can work with the members better. my favorite thing he said was this: "it's not illegal to be creative, look at the earth, God is so creative! being creative is a sign of spirituality." i feel like since quarantine hit, i have been doing the same thing every. single. day. three months in, it got old weeks ago hahaha. i want to be more creative! since that meeting, we've been focusing on following the Spirit even more and being creative in how we teach and the invitations we extend. It's been so good!!! we've seen the members get pumped about helping us and we have had lots of really good, uplifting conversations with the members. It's made this week not as boring or repetitive. also, we have seen some fruits of our labors! at least four members told us they have plans to give a Book of Mormon to their friends this week!! so that's awesome. my goal for this area is to have thousands of missionaries in the stake, not just me and Sister Loudin! we're gonna get there!!

also, this week I have gained a stronger testimony of the enabling power of the Atonement. Jesus Christ can help us do so much more than we can do on our own. If we let Him, He can strengthen us. I have felt Him carry me through this week! He has the power to do the same for you.

love you all! have a great week!!!
