Miracle Filled and Bountifully Blessed

hello hello hello!!!

dang another good week in quarantine hahaha. some days feel so long, and others just fly by. it's weird.

like I said last week, my mission is trying to make the best of this situation so the AP's have been posting challenges for us to do a couple times a week. last week my comps and I won the most lessons taught in two days by teaching twenty two lessons! wellllllll i guess that proved to everyone that we can/should be teaching more, so this week's challenge was to teach forty lesson in one day!!!!! ummmmmmm that's a big jump right? that also means in order to get forty lessons you have to teach one every fifteen minutes... well sister reid and i gave it our best shot, but we had to tap out at twenty six lessons in one day. i was so exhausted by the end I could hardly think hahaha. a companionship of sisters actually got it though!!! forty two lessons!! it was crazy. they worked hard that day! even though we didn't get to forty, it was a great day! I love teaching people and inviting them to come closer to Jesus Christ. i think the challenge lifted everyone's spirits and helped remind me how great the work is!! my purpose is still the same! now that we know we can still do the work even while in quarantine, we are trying to improve our teaching so we can uplift the members, find new people to teach and help our friends progress towards baptism. it was a good boost for the mission!

this weekend was wonderful! General Conference was AMAZINGGGGGG as always. President Nelson said it would be unforgettable and it was!! there are so many things I want to do and change now. one of my favorite talks was from Elder Holland. he talked all about hope! I loved that he said, "the future will be as miracle filled and bountifully blessed as the past has been." that sentence brought so much peace and hope to my soul! I have been really worried about my area and the sisters I serve with and the future of missionary work, but his words reminded me to take a breath because Heavenly Father has perfomed miracles in the past, and He will continue to do so in the future. I trust Him because He is my Father and He wants to best for me!!

Kristin got baptized on Saturday!! ahhhh! she has worked so hard to get here. I am so so so happy for her. she was just BEAMING when she came up out of the water. it was a different service for sure. everyone got to participate in the ordinance via technology, unless they were directly helping with the baptism. pretty much it was just us, kristin, her friend, the Bishop and a ward missionary. very small, but so spiritual. I am amazed by Kristin and her testimony of the Savior. I am so grateful i got to teach her!!!

Sister Reid is dying!!! aka she goes home tomorrow! crazy! she is such a dedicated servant of the Lord. I am grateful I got to serve with her. I am staying in Layton Hills next transfer and my new comp is going to be sister loudin!! ahhhhh!! she's my baby! (lol i trained her) and now we get to be reunited. I have told president every transfer to make us comps again and he finally listened lol. I am excited for the miracle filled and bountifully blessed upcoming six weeks!!

well I love you all!! stay safe and healthy!

love, sister keeler
