A real missionary now!

Hey!! The weeks are flying by, it feels like I just wrote one of these yesterday, but it's already been a week somehow! This week was real good. I like lists so I'm going to make one of those with some cool things that happened!!

- I went on 2 exchanges!! Both were with my friends from the MTC, Sister Eyre and Sister Norton. It was way fun to reminisce about MTC days. Good times. Also I rode a bike all day with Sister Eyre 😮 I'm a real missionary now! Haha I have had a car for all but one transfer so that was a new experience for me. It was fun, but I'd also be okay if I never have to ride a bike in a skirt again lol

- We had a lesson with our sweet friend Kristin! She has two roommates who are members who have been sharing the Gospel with her. They invited her to church which is where Sister Reid met her a couple days before Hermana Gutierrez and I came into the area. We've had three lessons with her and she is so cute and sweet!! She wants to be baptized so we are helping her work towards the 21st!! Everytime we see her she has the biggest smile on her face. The Gospel brings JOY ❤

- On Tuesday we got invited to the Layton Hills Baptist Church to do a Q&A with 50 youth visiting from out of state. They were all high schoolers on a mission trip here to learn about our church. Pretty interesting. We split up into small groups and got to answer any questions they had. I was so worried all day leading up to this event because I HATE CONTENTION and I was afriad that it would be an hour of a bunch of high schoolers trying to bash us. I kept a prayer in my heart all day so I could answer their questions calmly and with the Spirit. I definitely saw my prayers being answered! I was able to answer questions that I didn't know I knew the answer to! I am grateful that Heavenly Father heard my prayers and gave me the words to say in the very moment I needed them. The Spirit was definitely present and helped us avoid contention. We all got to bear testimony of the Restoration and it was powerful. It was a really cool experience to be able to learn more about what they believe and share what I believe as well!! After the Q&A a bunch of the youth came up to us asking for copies of the Book of Mormon. Super cool experience. They invited us back next year too 👍 

- JAIDEN GOT BAPTIZED!! AHHHH. Such a happy day for her. Sadly I couldn't go down to Centerville for it 😥 but I did get to call her right after the baptism!! We definitely both cried on the phone haha, happy tears though! I am so proud of her and I can feel how proud Heavenly Father is as well. Seeing people follow Jesus Christ is what makes all the crazy/ugly/ stuff about a mission worth it!! 

A solid week 🙌 I am so grateful to be serving here! Thank you for all the love & support.
