Older and Wiser

Hellooooooo friends!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes!!! Wednesday was a good day, full of lots of celebrating... 21 years of life and also 1 year in the mission field! my pals threw a little surprise party at our Book of Mormon reading group. It was way fun! I have loved spending my whole 21st year as the Lord's representative. I am trying to cherish every second because it's the absolute best!!

The highlight of this week (even better than my birthday) was Saturday! I got to go to my friend Anna's temple endowment!! She got baptized right before I came into the area (a whole year ago lol) so my trainer and I got to teach her the recent convert lessons. 

As we were sitting in the temple, memories of those lessons came flooding back. Last February, we sat in Arctic Circle and ate ice cream as we talked about the importance of covenants, and then on Saturday I got to sit right by her as she made those promises! It was so cool to think of how far she has come in the past year, she has grown so much since I first met her. The Gospel and Atonement have changed her in so many different ways. She is planning to serve a mission soon, and I am so pumped for her. She is going to change other peoples' lives! I love her!

Don't forget that this truly is the Lord's restored church, the Book of Mormon is God's word, and the Savior's grace is sufficient to transform us all!! that's it for this week friends! LOVE YOU ALL!!
