A baptism and bowling
hey everyone!! happy p-day 😊
this week was great. FRANKLIN GOT BAPTIZED. AH. It was so happy. it started out a little rocky... the water heater wasn't working, so the other sisters had to get there 3 hours early to boil water to fill the font. needless to say, the water was a little chilly. when it was time for him to be baptized, Franklin put a toe in and it literally took his breath away hahaha. but he didn't back out don't worry.
when he came back out of the water he was smiling so big! he bore his testimony after and talked about how whenever he goes to church, he feels like he's with his family. and it's true! we are all God's children so we are all brothers and sisters! that is something I have felt very strongly as I've been able to teach him. even though we have different cultures and speak different languages, we have the same Father in Heaven and the same path to walk in order to get back to Him. I am so proud of Franklin's decision and I know Heavenly Father is too, infinitely moreso!!
2 Nephi 31:21 "And now, behold, my beloved brethren, this is the way; and there is none other way nor name given under heaven whereby man can be saved in the kingdom of God. And now, behold, this is the doctrine of Christ, and the only and true doctrine of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, which is one God, without end. Amen"
love you all!
with love,
a very happy Sister Keeler 😊
