Ten things in 10 months

hello friends! happy thanksgiving week! I am thankful for all the love and support you have shown me. 

I heard that last Thanksgiving the mission had a competition to see who could gain the most weight. the winner ate like 5 thanksgiving dinners and gained 13 pounds in 24 hours!! wowza!!! and it was a sister!!!!! thankfully my comp and I are only going to one dinner haha 

enjoy celebrating with loved ones this week and don't forget to thank our Heavenly Father for the blessings in your life. all good things come from Him. 

this year I am especially thankful to be the His servant. it's been 10 full months already! to celebrate, I made a list of 10 things I've learned in the past 10 months. here ya goooo...
1. Heavenly Father wants His children HOME!
2. the heavens are not closed. God still speaks today.
3. Joseph Smith truly saw God the Father and Jesus Christ and they did in reality speak to him. I cannot deny that.
4. there are lot's of interesting people in this world. people with very different backgrounds, but with lives just as intricate and complex as mine. it's an adventure meeting them!
5. the Book of Mormon is God's word and it's ENTERTAINING!
6. trials refine us. it's a priviledge to be refined. never deny it.
7. Heavenly father loves His children.
8. Satan is real. he does not want this work to go forward.
9. God does not call flawless missionaries. He qualifies those He calls, and consecrates even an imperfect performance.
10. the mission is the best/craziest/strangest/most wonderful rollercoaster I've ever been on.
