Greenie #4
Hey all!! Things are still going well in the stake! Our friend Franklin is still preparing to be baptized, but sadly we may have to push it back a week 😔 he has been super busy and hasn't been able to meet. But he is still excited to learn more and has THE BEST QUESTIONS! I love it. He really wants to understand and has been soaking it all up! We invited him to read a chapter from the Book of Mormon and he not only did he read it, but he read it 3 times, took notes and wrote down questions he wanted to ask us about it!! His desire is so real and pure. I am grateful to have the privilege of teaching him 😊
Happy/sad news... Sister Hughes got her Visa so she's leaving meeeee 😥 I'm happy she gets to go to where she was originally called, but I am sad to lose her! We have been so united (so much so that we accidentally wear matching clothes all the time haha) and we have felt the Spirit a lot together. This stake has grown so much since she's been here and I attribute a lot of that growth to her desire to work hard and her love for the Savior. I will miss her for sure!!
I just got a call from the assistants and found out that I am staying in my area and STL training again! This will be greenie number 4! And companion number 6 of (going on) 7 transfers. I have loved having lots of comps because each one is so different. I have learned so much from each one's style of teaching and testimony.
That means I will spend half of my mission in the Bountiful YSA stake... good thing I like it! Haha
This week I definitely noticed the Lord's hand a lot! It is so cool to see how He is in the details of our lives. He cares about the things we care about and if we ask for help, He will help us. I can testify that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. He loves all of His children and that includes you!! That knowledge will give you POWER!
Sending my love from Bountiful, UT!
love, Sister Keeler ❤
