Every day is an adventure!

WOW!! It has been a crazy past couple of weeks! But crazy good too!!

TING'S BAPTISM!!!! AHHHH! It was last Saturday and probably the best day of my mission so far. Ting's path to baptism was loooooong (4 years straight of being taught by missionaries!!) but her testimony is so strong. It was so cool to see so many of her friends there to support her. She had about 15 returned missionaries there who taught her while they were serving in Italy! And still there were more who couldn't make it! Notice she didn't get baptized until sisters came along ;) just kidding!!

I admire Ting's love for the Gospel. She has stayed strong in her testimony, even when no one in her family has been there to support her. I just adore her! Sister Loudin and I are already planning a trip to go visit her in Italy ❤

Speaking of Sister Loudin... in true Sister Keeler fashion, I only got to be with her for six weeks :( transfers came out and so now I am training a brand new missionary... again!!!! Plus they took out the other set of sisters in the YSA stake so our area just doubled in size (12 wards from North Salt Lake to Farmington, the geographical size of 24 family stakes. welcome to Utah lol) AND on top of all that I got called to be the STL. It's going to be a busy transfer, but I am so excited to witness the miracles that will happen!

If I have learned anything on my mission it's that there is no growth in the comfort zone. Our purpose here in mortality is to learn, grow and become, that's impossible to do without struggles. I am grateful for the chance to stretch and become a better servant of the Lord! Embrace change!! Heavenly Father loves us where we are at, but He can see our potential and He will help us get there.

My new comp is Sister Hughes from Gilbert, Arizona and she is like human sunshine haha!! She actually didn't get called to this mission, she is waiting for her visa so she can go to Brisbane, Australia. I love her lots already! I may have to sabatoge her visa...
We have had a fun week so far. A few days ago, we knocked on a door and a nice man named Douglas and his mom invited us in. We sat on his couch and he proceeded to talk to us about all the wonderful Youtube videos he's been watching... did you know Brittany Spears is a shapeshifting alien dragon who lives underground and eats children??? Yeah this guy...  On the mission, everyday is an adventure! You never know who you're going to meet!!

Since that experience I've been thinking about truth and where to find it. I know that spiritual questions deserve spiritual answers. They can't be found on YouTube or Google! They only come from the one unfailing source of truth, our Heavenly Father. If you're struggling with a question, go to Him!! He has promised us over and over that if we knock, He will answer! Put that promise to the test :-)

I love you all!! And I love this work!! Have a wonderful week!

With love,
Sister Keeler
