Temple Trip and a Baptism

Hey all!!

Pday got switched to today because the mission got to go to the temple this morning!! It was wonderful to feel the Spirit and peace that only the House of the Lord can provide. I'm extremely grateful for temples :)

Another week of hard work here in the Bountiful YSA. Sister Whetten and I are working really hard to grow this area. Now that we only cover half the stake, we are able to get to know the ward members sooo much better than before, so we are praying that many more member referrals come as we are more of a presence in the wards. There are companionships in the area that cover 3 STAKES at once... I can't even imagine that!! I like my 6 wards 😊

Melissa got baptized on Saturday!! Ahh I love her!! It was the sweetest thing I've ever seen! I feel so blessed to know her and to have seen her testimony grow. Her religion is a very private thing for her, so she wanted to keep the baptism small, like really small... only the people involved in her conversion process were there... so pretty much us and her boyfriend's parents haha!! It was a sweet reminder to me that our relationship with God is a personal thing, but it's also wonderful to have our friends there to support us, because we're all brothers and sisters just helping each other through life! The Spirit was undeniable and I definitely felt God's love for her extra strong that day!!

Melissa explained that when she prayed for the first time, her mind filled with light. Suddenly, all the things she had been taught seemed logical and she knew in her heart that she found the truth. That's exactly how the Spirit works, he speaks to our minds and hearts to testify of truth! But He speaks with a quiet voice so we need to be listening to hear. Melissa is extremely humble so she immediately heard the answer when it came! She is a rare case... Heavenly Father had definitely been preparing her for a while! Others we're teaching just need a bit more time, but I have faith that they will come to know for themselves as well!! 😊 miracles happen when we have faith and work hard.

Well I gotta go now!! I hope you all have a wonderful week!!

Love, Sister Keeler
