Saying goodbye to "mom"

Hey friends! Transfers are out and Sister Whetten and I are staying wooohoooooo!! It's nice to not have to stress about starting over AGAIN

Well this week was wonderful!! We saw lots of miracles! 

1. On Monday, Sister Whetten and I were standing outside the church, talking about how we wished people would come running up to us asking to be baptized when a man came up to us and asked, "How do I come to church?" We were shocked, but we gave him a tour of the church and talked about some things we believe in. Turns out he was baptized in his home country, which is a little island near Guam, but hasn't been to church since he moved here about a year ago. Well we told him all about the YSA and the fun activities they have and he was so down! He came to church on Sunday and is excited to continue coming. Plus he has 5 roommates who aren't members = potentials!!!!

2. Melissa is our sweet friend from France and she is getting baptized this Saturday!! Every lesson with her makes me so happy because she is so happy now that she has a relationship with God. It is wonderful to see!!

3. Our friend who we gave a Book of Mormon to claimed it was boring and hard to read so we invited him to our Book of Mormon group and he came woooo!!!! We weren't sure if he was coming for sure, but then we got a text that said "hey I think I'm lost in the church." Sister Whetten and I basically sprinted out of the Relief Society Room and found him and he stayed the whole time!

4. We got food poisoning, but thanks to a whole lot of prayers, we were able to give our talks without puking from the pulpit. Blessings.

5. A woman from China who was meeting with missionaries there just showed up at church and said she wants to continue the lessons. The Bishop of her ward speaks Mandarin, coincidence??? nope!!

I know that Heavenly Father gives us credit for trying. We won't always be perfect, God knows that, but He does expect us to keep pushing and working towards it. When we do, He will bless us!! I have seen that, especially this week!! I'm not a perfect missionary, not even close, but I'm trying and that's what matters!!
