A missionary's dream

Hello all!! Another week down in Clinton! We're somehow already over half way through the transfer... that was quick!

This week was wonderful! We had a few super good lessons this week! One in particular stands out in my mind. It was with a girl named Payton. She was one of the referrals we got last week. She is from the town next to Clinton, but got permission from the Bishop and our mission president to be taught in her half brother's ward, which is in our stake! We met with her on Saturday and she is the cutest 9 year old who is SO pumped to be baptized. She basically asked, "how many times a week do we need to meet so I can get baptized as soon as possible?" Hahaha the dream. So we set up to meet on Thursdays and Saturdays and scheduled her baptism for May 11th... after transfers, but hopefully Sister Bravo and I will still be here to see it! We also gave Payton her very own copy of the Book of Mormon! She was so excited and said that she was going to read it as soon as we left! I love her enthusiasm 😊 As we were leaving, Payton's mom (who sat in on the lesson and isn't a member) literally said her, "And if mom listens to the lessons too, she could get baptized with you!" It was incredible. These people are PREPARED. It's so cool to see!!

I hope you all had a happy Easter! Mine was wonderful! Easter is the best because it is a time to remember the Savior's great atoning sacrifice for us all. Where would we be without the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Lost, hopeless, miserable... wow that sounds awful! BUT! Through Him and His Atonement, we can experience peace and joy in this life and Eternal Life in the world to come! God be thanked for the matchless gift of His divine Son!

I love you all!

love, Sister Keeler

4. We became friends with a member of the bishopric's German foreign exchange student. She had lots of questions about our beliefs so we went over for dinner. By the time we had to leave Sister Bravo and I felt like we covered everything in the first two lessons bc of how many questions we answered 😂 we even got her a Book of Mormom in German 😊
