A baptism and a new pal Dori
Hey friends!
Another week down here in Bountiful and everything is just dandy! Life is good! Well except for being sick... but we'll get into that later.
We were able to finally make contact with people we have been reaching out to over the past week. We have lessons set up for Wednesday and Thursday so I will tell you how those go next week! I'm so excited to get teaching!!
The most exciting thing that happened was.... WE HAD A BAPTISM! It was for a man named Andy, he moved here from California and found out about the church through his girlfriend. Sister Musick and I were so lucky we got put into the area right in time to help him get to the font! We are so proud of him and we know that he will be greatly blessed for following Jesus Christ's example and getting baptized!
It was a miracle the baptism went as smoothly as it did considering the fact that my comp and I woke up that morning feeling like we were hit by a truck, we were sooooo sick!!! But, thanks to a whole lot of cold medicine, we somehow pulled it off and covered for all of our busy/flaky YSA ward members lol. We did have one close call! It was 5 minutes before the baptism was supposed to start and Andy still wasn't there. We were getting a little worried but then he walked in! Turns out he thought it was at the other church building so he showed up there, but the pianist did the same thing so they were able to find the right building together!
In all the craziness we didn't even tell the person being baptized the address! He didn't even know where HIS OWN BAPTISM WAS! My comp and i felt so dumb haha... total fail on our part !! But we decided to just blame the sickness and move on lol. But God is good so He made it all work out!
I have come to learn that "when you're on the Lord's errand, you cannot fail!"
I love you all!! Thank you for the love, support & prayers! Have a fabulous week!!
Love, Sister Keeler

2. My landlady's pup. Her name is dori and she is straight up a stuffed animal.
3. We volunteered at an assisted living home. This is us with our new friend Pat! She was a cutie! We played hot potato and everytime we passed it to her she would make the funniest face and act sooo scared. It was adorable!
4,5. My comp and I tried to visit someone up in the mountains but there was so much snow covering their stairs up to their house we literally couldn't walk up to the door! So we snapped some pics with the mountains to make the trip up not a total waste haha!
