Sisters in Pants!

Hello friends!!

Two lovely weeks down here at the MTC and one more to go!! Also one more week of being a teenager!! What??!! So crazy!

This week was full of lots of learning, teaching our new friends and helping people come closer to Christ. Sister Norton and I taught a lot about the Plan of Salvation which was a blessing because I found out my great grandmother passed away this week. But because of the things we had been studying and teaching, I was reminded that families are eternal and that I'll see her again someday!! She lived a long life (104 years!!) full of love and service. Her dad was a mission president so I feel close to her as a missionary!!

Yesterday my district and I got to be hosts for the new missionaries. Our job was to welcome, help them with their bags and show all the arriving missionaries around the campus. One of the missionaries I got to help was a cute sister from Tonga! She was so excited to be in America and even more excited to see snow!! She kept saying "wow it feels like I'm in a movie!" Or "my family is never going to believe this!" And made me take tons of pictures of her in it! She was super sweet! But the biggest thing I noticed was that all she brought was a TINY suitcase. I'm pretty sure it was a child's suitcase and that was all she had! I was really inspired. She has almost nothing! Not even a winter coat! (Don't worry the MTC got her one!) But she is here giving what she does have and that's the Gospel!

Well being a missionary is pretty sweet! I love having my name right next to Jesus Christ's!

Love you all!!
