Hello friends!!
It's been a while! So much has happened since I last emailed!!
First of all thank you for all the birthday wishes. I felt so so loved!!
On Wednesday my district and I said goodbye to the MTC, boarded the train and headed up to Layton! We met our mission president (who is the KINDEST MAN IN THE WORLD!) and were assigned our areas and companions!!
My comp is Sister Muscik and she is the sweetest ever! She is super smiley, easy going and always positive, so we get along great!
We are serving in the Bountiful YSA stake. We cover 12 wards (we went to 4 wards yesterday!!) from North Salt Lake all the way to Farmington. It's about 20 miles, so that is huge for this mission! But it's so fun serving in wards with people our age!
We are both new to this area so this week has been all about figuring out what the heck we're doing haha! It's pretty chaotic and requires a lot of coordinating and organizing, but we're working hard and staying focused!
Everyone here is SO SWEET! The missionaries pretty much get treated like celebrities, we get special discounts and everyone says hi to us! Today we were walking in Walmart and I can't even count how many people said "hi sisters!" We're pretty spoiled here in Utah!
Elder Soares came and gave a devotional on my last day in the MTC and said that being a missionary is "a priceless privilege because we have the opportunity to help Heavenly Father fulfill His promises to His children" How blessed am I that out of billions and billions of people, I get to represent Jesus Christ and help carry out God's plan! I love being a missionary! And I love you all!

Home Sweet Home! They live with a single sister in her childhood home with her super cute and fluffy dog. They have the whole basement and it looks like a pretty nice set up. Plus, we pictured her riding a bike in the snow, but nope that's their SUV in the driveway! Layton seems to be a pretty great place to be a missionary.
